Children Development Program is created to accommodate children’s needs for education, food, character building and spiritual growth around the community. Providing free basic education for needy children, Matthew 19:14 Christian Academy enroll an avergae of 55-60 students ages 3-6 in three different levels per year. They are taught Reading & Writing, Math & Science, English/Filipino Language, and Christian Education.
On Saturdays, Children’s Church teaches children ages 3 to 13 values education based on Biblical principles. 65 to 75 kids on average attend weekly. The program identifies and trains those with leadership potential, skills in music, arts, and gives them opportunity to lead and be a model to other kids. The Hope Center Youth are the counselors, mentors and volunteer teachers.
Weekly feeding program provides free meals to children attending Children’s Church. Meals are prepared by volunteers and parents ensuring balanced nutrition for the kids. Food preparation is part of adult homemaking/cooking classes.
At Hope Center, we look forward to a holistic development in every child involved and so we pray & encourage volunteer NGOs and individuals to help in meeting the Medical and Dental needs of the project.
